I Conclude,
personal essays
I tell you what I did.
I Am. All Of Us.
Prior to the release of Kendrick Lamar’s fifth LP, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” Courtney & I wanted to share our anticipation for the project, with only the title and “The Heart Part 5” to dissect. There is power and pain in being the “&” and we wanted to peel back the curtains and share our perspective on it.
I Am A Work In Progress.
took some photos of my friend.
What started as a favor ended in me taking some time to reflect on my own individuality and how it exists stronger with the help of other people. Better together.
I Ruined My Own Aggie Fest & I Don’t Regret It.
I really wanted to make some Aggie Fest content this week but I wasn’t in a party mood plus the few parties I went to didn’t really inspire me to capture anything. Instead, I used my printer to take some photos with the items in my purse. I feel as though these images capture the essence of a week out of the year that I once couldn’t even remember.
I Am Running Off Of 3 Hours of Sleep and A Red Bull.
Everything you do doesn’t have to serve you in a monetary way. It’s important that you have a healthy balance of mandatory and optional tasks that you complete. Sometimes I find myself forgetting to do work that purely serves me for fun, so when I finally got the chance to create some posters just for me, I rolled up my sleeves and cracked open a can of Red Bull.
I Designed A Presidential Campaign Without Losing My Mind.
Everyone who knows me knows I’m not the biggest fan of campaign season. But when one of my besties came to me with a concept I’d been wanting to execute for a minute, I couldn’t resist.
Congratulations on Senior Class President Caiya!
I Shed A Tear At Dreamville Festival.
I got the opportunity to go to Dreamville and they let ya girl bring her camera in. Here’s what it looked like from the Arial Eye View.
I Sometimes Wonder Where I Would Be If I Hadn’t Quit Theatre.
This week for my photojournalism class I had to profile a student in a department outside of the journalism one. After a brief trip down memory lane I spent an hour learning about Professional Theatre student Sanai Hyman.
I Wish I Was Invisible So I Could Take Photos In Peace.
Sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall, capturing life in its most natural state. When people see me walking around with my fat ass camera they assume I am seeking for them to be my subject. But sometimes there is a different story I want to tell. A more physical one.
I Fell In Love With Being The Passenger. (EYE SPY RED)
For my photojournalism class, I was tasked with photographing cars. For this project, instead of telling my story through a driver (which I am not), I chose to focus on my perspective of travel through a passenger.
I Took Some Photos That Are Gonna Be In An Art Show.
To close out Women’s History Month, two of my photos will be on view at beSOCIAL ATL for The Primary Movement’s, The Divine Feminine: Phenomenal Women Series Art Show. Here’s a look at the photos & why this show is so special to me.
I Took My Best Friend’s Birthday Photos & I Didn’t Completely Hate It.

I Shot Ye 709 Miles Away.
This week in the lab I got behind the camera. This is what you get when you do a photoshoot of a live concert from your laptop screen. No screenshots tho.
I Turned My Cover Letter Into A Playlist.
This week in the lab I am reporting my playlist cover letter for my Spotify Summer Internship Application.
