The Soular Lab
is the blog + laboratory of Arial Robinson.
created to produce physical artworks and facilitate conversations that inspire and educate black creators.
specializing in print + physical + musical matter.
Founded on the principles of exploration, documentation and reflection. Where creativity roams within no boundaries and authentic stories are the force behind each project, no matter the medium. The Tragic Intricacies Of Black Beauty (2022)
Limited Edition Prints Available Now
In celebration of this original work going on display and for purchase at The Arts Center Gallery in Fayetteville, NC, Arial is excited to release 25 limited edition prints.
Ingrained in our history but not in our DNA, this piece seeks to illustrate that even in our experience of tragedy there is still purity and virtue in the existence of the Black woman. Constantly under a microscope, we deserve magnification in a way that honors our full identities.
Originally painted in 2022 with acrylic paint on flat board canvas.
If you are interested in purchasing the original please reach out to Arial at robinson.arial@gmail.com.
